Say "thank you" to those who serve

As we celebrate Veteran’s Day here in the United States, it is a good time to reflect and show gratitude to those who serve, or have served, our country. It is SO easy to just walk by someone in uniform and not acknowledge them. No matter what we think about war, these people put their lives on the line for us. They should be told “thank you”. This video caught my heart and will show you how. It helped me to not only think again about those serving in the military, but to remember how important it is to show gratitude to anyone who is in service. It’s so simple. Watch…

My special prayers to those serving our country right now. God bless you.

Did this strike a chord with you? How do you let those around you who serve, know you are grateful?

  1. Hi Debbie,

Thanks so much for sharing this video! Our men and women in uniform do amazing things for us to retain our freedom and deserve our thanks and this gesture of gratitude is so simple yet powerful!

If you want to go a little further, buy their coffee, lunch or dinner if you see them at a restaurant. You might be giving the gift but what you get back even more amazing.

Thanks again Debbie and thank you to all veterans!

    Hugs,
    Patty

  2. Hi Debbie,
Thank you for this message. My little brother is now a retired Marine. I am extremely grateful to all in uniform and let them know it. Thanks for passing your message on! All my best, Anne

  3. Wonderful! Thank you so much for all the sacrifices you and your families have made to give us the freedom we all have and too often take for granted. I hope more people will find it easier to give thanks to the men and women returning home or state side. I do believe many just didn’t know how…and now they do Thank You
